Capturing life, in film or still photography. 

From the beginning i always was a bit of tech and film geek. In my early years you could find me mostly watching films or tearing apart some old computers. When we went on holidays with the family i always took the part of the photographer. Looking for interesting compositions and interesting light.

When i went to high school it became more clear. i loved film and was really interested by the technical side of it also. I watched behind the scened of every movie i have seen. Started making short films with my friends and i ended up on film school. There i found more people with the same passion and i really loved all the time we spend on performing the art we all loved so much.

Just before i graduated i had some great internships and could start freelancing right away. First couple of years i worked a lot as camera and lighting assistant. Did some Gaffer work but ultimatly ended up doing a lot 1st ac work as focus puller. Mostly working on commercials but also a couple of feature films.

In the meantime i was growing as a cinematographer, learning on set from very experienced people. I chased some passion projects from time to time to shoot for myself and all the time i was still shooting smaller commercials and corperate work.

Now much later i can say i am blessed with the number of projects i worked on as a Cinematographer/DoP. Looking forward to what the future may bring.
